Yuto Horigome stormed back to win Olympic gold in the men's street final at Paris 2024 to become back-to-back Olympic champion on 29 July.
Just 0.1 points behind Horigome was Tokyo 2020 bronze medallist Jagger Eaton with a final score of 281.04 to take silver, with his Team USA teammate Nyjah Huston third on 279.38 to win his first Olympic medal.
Huston held the lead through most of the competition, but after Eatonβs stunning 95.25 fourth trick and Horigomeβs fifth - a whopping 97.08, the highest score in the final - was unable to hang onto the gold medal position.
Vibes were high in the La Concorde Urban Park throughout the competition, as Snoop Doggβs music blared over the loud speakers while none other than the artist himself was in the crowd, amongst fans, watching the action go down.
