Three years ago, at Tokyo 2020 in 2021, a teen takeover was declared as three women under the age of 17 and two under 14 claimed spots on the street podium in Japan.
Youth is poised to shine once more in France with the reigning Olympic silver and bronze medalists, Rayssa Leal and Nakayama Funa, set to make a return to action at the Place de la Concorde.
